ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
I guess some of the crashes didn't make the news in the past, then. That collision counter that is on the /r/kitchener subreddit only lists 31, and he would use data from news stories.

It seems like the pedestrian and cyclist collisions are typically unreported and unnoticed by the public.

Have you seen some of the pedestrian interactions? I would not blame a pedestrian for getting hit at a place like King/Victoria.

Does anyone know if ATP is on the trains yet? I haven't paid much attention to the news of the LRT in the last few months since it was more or less operational in all regards except for a few minor things.

ATP has been active for a couple months now, I think.

ATP has been on since at least the 16th of June

This article about Abe Erb's closing has the first mention I've seen in about 2 years of any law suits against the Region for losses due to LRT construction.

Has anybody got more information on that topic?

An administrative process, not a lawsuit.

Another accident at King/Green. Looking at the CTV Photo, looks like a Southbound train.

Seeing how the damage is, and the way the intersection is, my initial guess is someone was trying to make a U-Turn or pull into the parking lot there and didn't look. There is however a Left Turn signal at this intersection so I wonder if they ignored it.
