You've piqued my curiosity.  Is there room for an ambulance to pass on the left if a vehicle pulls over to the right-hand curb (only) and stops as required?  If not, what is the correct protocol?

You move completely to the right of the roadway [§159(1)]. The right-side LRT lane is a restricted lane [§154(1)(‌c‌)] but it's still roadway. That's why right-hand-side LRT lanes have gentle bumps while the left-hand-side ones have curbs.

Realistically, there should also be plenty of space to pass the lanes are at least 4.5 meters wide in most places, most cars aren't more than 2 meters wide, and ambulances are about 2.4 meters.

Moreover, the ambulances can use the LRT right of way.

Both good given I doubt most people will know to wait to pull over.

That's what my understanding is, yes. If I had to guess, I'd guess 501 will be the last train to test here - going to Millhaven to get "fixed" at some point.

We’ve been well into ridiculous for some time now. We should be considering what sanctions would be appropriate for Bombardier. For example, perhaps they should be forced to be renamed to “Latey McLateFace”.

Also October - my guess is that being 502. I'm also going to speculate that 501 is going to get shipped to Millhaven at some point to be made whole. The TTC did something similar with their first FLEXITY; it went back to Thunder Bay after the TTC had it for a while to get patched up.

The first of anything off a line is obviously never going to be as good as unit 10 or 100. You learn a lot as you go along.

I'm still sad about us not getting the flashing lights when trains approach. Watching videos about other cities that have that feature makes me even more sad
