They could just hire the guy who drives around the OMSF in the SUV To pop over and stay with it.
...or I'd happily bring over my sleeping bag...
Thank you for the info. I don't want anybody to touch our baby!, lol

That was everything I dreamed it would be!!!!
I biked alongside the train with a couple of other fans all the way from the start of the Spur Line. I could keep up until about Erb/Caroline, when the lights hiccuped and didn't give a walk signal for two light cycles. Couldn't catch up after that and turned back at University.
Caught up with Tom and almost gave him a hug... we were both grinning from ear to ear!!!!
I will sleep very well tonight.
It's here!!!!!!

They're moving awfully fast for track in that poor shape.

I can't quite see my cycle computer in my Field of View, but based on what I know I usually ride along there, and what my rather "leisurely output" allows , that's about 24 km/h (15 mph) - likely the speed limit for that unguarded section of line.
Here's the whole video, in case anyone is interested!

Also appreciated that they got the Bombardier startup team in here, too!

That team is expected to grow to 12-14 people over the next few months and they will be here until the last vehicle is track ready. The warranty only begins when the last vehicle is delivered and accepted by Grandlinq

The new emergency exit stair case on the Fredrick/Benton street overpass is now in place. (Sorry couldn't grab pictures). Benton station platform looks to be fully poured and forms removed as well.

Wow, that was quick (stairs)! IIRC they were still completely gone as of last weekend.
I noticed new illuminated "No Right Turn/Train" signs are up on Hayward, at Graybar's two entrance/exit crossings. Probably the only example of a private company getting this kind of thing along the line?

Looks like it was brought in as one piece and erected in place.

Ah, great spotting! There are some on Caroline, too, IIRC - just South of the Willis Way platform. The ones at Graybar are mounted on huge galvanized poles just like those.
Nice video from CTV here with some footage from this morning, and a little bit more information about the timeline over the next few months.

Reminder: Open House No. 2 at the OMSF, including our first chance to get inside Train 1, will be on April 8!
