Probably no thread because at this point, none of these projects even deserve one hah. They all look the same, have terrible design/finished quality and then they're immediately forgotten.

This is the old Household China address if I'm not mistaken. Construction has been underway for a while now.

In a surprise move (to me), it would appear that Wilfred Laurier University is selling the houses along Albert St between Seagram Drive and University Ave. This would include the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre which is one of the first buildings built for the Lutheran Seminary when it was first established.
This sale is a surprise to me as Laurier owns most of the rest of the block west and north of these properties, as well as properties stretching south of Bricker. Why they would sell this one strip of 3-4 properties is beyond me. At least one of the properties now has a sold sign on it.

That seems bizarre. If anything shouldn’t they be gradually buying up any remaining property on the block as the opportunity arises? Then again, they didn’t buy the two blocks surrounded by Hemlock/Hickory/Hazel/Balsam when they were available, so who knows. Except that not buying something (which may not be available for a reasonable price) is quite different from selling something one already owns. There is precedent however: I understand the University of Waterloo sold the building that is now EC3 some years ago, only to buy it back along with the rest of the RIM buildings southwest of Columbia/Phillip later.

There's construction fencing up around 56 and 58 Marshall with a sign advertising "Novo Condos". Their website is primesky.ca

93 Columbia St W is for sale:
https://realtor.ca/real-estate/25343952/...arelisting Approved for 158 suites (188 bedrooms) and 432 square metres ground floor retail. I think this is the cleared lot beside where Louie Condos is supposed to go (101 Columbia).

No rendering of outdoor ponds and green space ever looks this real! /s On a serious note. I know Russian suburbs when I see em.

A few more older houses have been torn down on 3 different plots of land along Albert St between University and Columbia when I drove down yesterday.

Looks like a new bus station is being built near WLU, Southwest side of King and University. Only one canopy is being built though,
Anyone know what its for? If it's for GO busses then the new stop is 200m away from the old one which was right infront of campus. The website doesn't seem to let me post images, I am new here though so i don't really know how it works.

You got it right -- sorry for the slow mod approval, I had missed it earlier.
The photo is good, one extra thing to do is to click "Insert into post" as that'll improve the resizing to fit regardless of screen size.

Definitely appears to be the same style as the UW terminal. Interesting!
Small project proposed for the student ghetto at 333 Albert Street. 6 floors, 85 1 bedroom units and 365 square meters of commercial space. 33 parking spaces for vehicles and 26 for bikes. An elevation change means it will only appear to have 5 floors fronting Albert, but it is 6 in total.
