One notable addition from previous renderings, there's now a second tunnel under the platforms that leads right into the main hall. Previously access to the further platform was only via the tunnel that linked to the bus area, and it had no inside access from the station building. One downgrade however is that there is no longer a public door facing King St, all access is from the plaza on the Victoria St-facing side of the building. Oddly I can see there is a private corridor that leads to a door on that side, but unfortunately no access for the public.
Is the retail space a new addition? I thought the absence of a coffee shop/convenience store was a major shortcoming of the original design.
