Good to see the embed finished in front of King Edward! I know the schoolkids there have been following progress closely.

Some great shots, but did they have a time limit? Some of the cuts are so fast that I'm still searching the details of one shot when it moves to the next, and barely have time to determine what details I should now be looking for before it shifts again. I wonder if GrandLinq yelled at them for filming

William at King and Union at King both look well on their way to reopening as scheduled on the 15th - William moreso than Union. I will try for photos on my way home.
Everyone move to the back of the bus and we all get home faster.

I was near city hall today and noticed the view towards the grade separation is quite impressive. You can really see the change in view from before.

If it doesn't need to be moved it's a good thing, since trying to lift and move the image-bearing ceramic tilea without breaking them would be no easy task, I suspect.

I just walked by there and saw the pavement markings. It looks like a ~4.5m width sidewalk is going down to about ~3.0 m where the black wall is. It does not appear as though this will be a significant bottleneck. It may appear so because the whole are is very sidewalk-heavy, but this new restricted path is still far wider than most sidewalks typically are.

Was walking along side the Kaufman Lofts @ Francis today. They've only been working on the section for what, 1 week, maybe 2 now? Yet they already had a cat pole foundation in next to the Lofts. Kind of strange considering the minimum 3 months still left on this road closure.
Even stranger still, the foundation was on the west side of the road, when track here is supposed to be running on the east side. Anyone know why that might be?

Ah, that could be. They might have on set back because the curve of the road reduces visibility. Still a bit premature for any sort of foundation though, I would think.

That's supposed to open on Monday?

I was wondering about that this morning, as well.

If they work through the weekend I would say it's doable.

They have paved the intersection of Caroline and Allen.
