Yes, I remember that storm in March 2008. Apparently, aside from 2008, we hadn't had large winter storms like this since the 1970's (1978 I believe). What I do remember is that I went to school between the late 1970's and early 1990's -- during that time, we had 1 snow day, that was the blizzard in 1978. We had a day when I was in middle school when windchills were at -40ºC, but school wasn't cancelled, but we only had about 9 kids in class, out of 35 (it was a smallest class). In high school we had exam deferred by a day due to the cold weather, I still went to school to study though.
