TriTag, and GRT users, should be relieved, "To help encourage ridership in 2018 as GRT services change and ION launches, staff are proposing to keep GRT fares unchanged for 2018."
Also in the budget, GRT proposing to make the route 77 (Wilmot) a permanent route.
"To date, the additional service has shown a positive impact and contributed to an increased ridership of 30% over the same period in 2016."
