ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
A couple of target stations (Conestoga, Block Line, Northfield, Grand River Hospital, and Fairway) will have on-demand heat - you push a button and the heater will activate.

The rails through the station areas where there's ballasted tracks got some rework done in the form of an anti-corrosion coating, but only in those areas - suggesting that salt will still be used on the platform itself. (There's no in-floor heating, if that's what you were asking)
