The latest Conference Board of Canada report sees strengthening growth (2.7%) in the local economy, including in the manufacturing sector (2.1%), up slightly from 2015 (2.6%). Best news is a projected increase in employment of 2.1%, compared to a decline of 1% last year (something I've not seen much comment on). The local housing market seems to be perking up again as well, according to the K-W Realtors Association.
