Our national identity is basically gone, we lost our industrial capacities, intellectualism and science has slowly been disappearing, it has become harder to extract sources (lumber, mining etc), the cost of living is mind blowing, our cultural output is nonexistent and so on. Nothing we do is working and very little we do stands out to make us unique amongst the rest of the world.
I always like to start with defining the problem. What are the actual metrics that you’re looking at to back this up?
Particularly your last sentence about standing out amongst the rest of the world.
I find most of the time people have you attitude:
1. They have no idea what the actual metrics are and life is quite fine compared to historical trends in Canada. Some things better. Some things worse.
2. They absolutely have no idea what the rest of the world is like compared to Canada.
