Nobody else in the west has the same problem we do: insane physical proximity to the biggest pile of money on earth.
I think we should 100% try and make new friends, but the US is an unavoidable economic juggernaut. It’s so beyond massive that I don’t know what word to use.
And people ultimately act with their wallets, because they like to be fed, and it’s genuinely impossible to completely avoid American money when you’re right next to them.
