ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
(11-22-2024, 12:18 PM)danbrotherston Wrote: The problem with your statement is that the only way that happens is by keeping trains away from everything, including people...which is bad...and pointless, a driver like this hitting an LRT is bad, and bad optics, but drivers like this injure people every day, and it doesn't even make the paper.

The real solution might be to keep cars away from everything, but our society clearly isn't ready for that...even the Dutch don't do that...although the Dutch seem to have figured out how to limit the harm bad drivers do.

Or TL;DR....lets not start this again, cars are the problem, not trains.

Guys...this is just rage baiting...right? Has danbroterston just been trolling all these years? I refuse to believe a real person has been writing this stuff hahah. Every forum needs a good troll so I've gotta give him a good 5.5 out of 10 if it has in fact all been a long satirical troll. I'll even bump it up a point or two for the sheer dedication it takes to achieve this. "It's not the train's fault it was built on the roads meant for automobiles, it's the automobiles fault!" haha pretty good stuff, like 4chan's /n/-tier transpo trolling lmao.
