I did not know this about drinking water advisories. This is huge progress. This should be better known.
There seems to be a belief in political circles that most voters would resent hearing a government boast about what it's done for people who aren't them. Same reason we don't hear much about the success of the Canada Child Benefit in nearly eliminating child poverty. The Trudeau government actually has a very strong track record of improving living conditions for the people who have the least, but seems not to want to talk about it for fear of "yeah, but what are you doing for the rest of us?".
