Just like you think people like myself lack imagination, you lack understanding that not everybody or everything fits into your lens..
I'm not sure what's scenic about Black Creek Dr or Avenue Road....I've driven them, they're shitty roads just like the Gardiner.
But I'm not sure what you mean it's not "cost effective"...you aren't paying anything to use any of the roads (everyone else is), if you are talking about the cost of your time, every time I've taken the Gardiner, it's been a time consuming mess...the idea that that is cost effective, but Avenue Rd. can't be doesn't really carry much weight. It might be a little longer sometimes, but all it takes is one distracted driver rear ending someone and all of a sudden, the Gardiner is much more expensive.
Hey Rainrider, you are one lucky dude. You aren't paying anything to use those roads but somehow EVERYONE ELSE is. That includes me, Dan in the Netherlands, bravado...Bravado? in Cambridge, everyone! Not sure how you pulled that off but way to go. I am jealous but at the sametime happy to pay my share for you drive. Safe driving my friend.
