There has to be some sort of mistake here...DGG was Stephen Woodworth's official agent in 2011?!? I always thought (and I swear I recall reading an article about this) that Dan was/is a card carrying member of the NDP. He's also been one of the more progressive voices on council, which reinforced that NDP connection. Now I'm reading that he donated over $1,000 to the Conservative Party?
I'm so confused! Are we sure this is the same DGG? lol

I don't know which Dan you're thinking of as a card-carrying member of the NDP, but I'm pretty sure that is not Dan Glenn-Graham.

There's also a Dan Graham running in Ward 2

That's what the Elections Canada records show. It is possible that there's another politically-active Dan Glenn-Graham in Kitchener Centre, but it's pretty well-known around political circles that DGG (the contender for mayor) is a Conservative supporter.

...So it is true, judging by the number of endorsements DGG received on twitter from well known conservatives in Kitchener. I had no idea that Better Choices endorsed Conservatives. I always took DGG for a progressive. Besides his "government we can afford" tagline, nothing in his platform comes across as particularly conservative, IMO.
In other DGG news: "Dan Glenn-Graham apologizes for email asking council candidate to drop out" "Kitchener mayor Carl Zehr 'disturbed' by email from Glenn-Graham campaign"

When do the new councillors take their seats on council?

Sworn in as December begins, I believe?
