General Urban Waterloo Updates and Rumours

Of note though, was this little nugget:
Quote:Location: 52 Regina St. & 56 Regina St. North in Waterloo

These two adjacent houses on Regina St. in Uptown Waterloo, the former Relish Cooking Studio and Mini Car Collectibles, have been generously offered by HIP DEVELOPMENTS for Art$Pay (AP) to manage as visual art studios and exhibition spaces for 2, perhaps 3 years. This location is close to bus lines, cafes, restaurants, shops, art supply stores and more, with free parking behind 52 Regina St. and between the two houses.

This is great. The Region is seriously lacking in arts and culture so hopefully we see more of this. Speaking of, the Clay and Glass gallery is so terribly underused - it could become a vibrant multi use arts and culture hub but nope, it's just a gift shop and the occasional semi interesting exhibit. And weddings.
