Now that they had a proper news article posted this morning...

Apparently someone went into the three Walmart locations, starting at Sunrise at 9:17, then the Stanley Park one at 9:55 and the Bridgeport one at 10:20 last night and lit the Toilet Paper on fire. Looks like due to the smoke damage, all the stores will need to write off their merchandise. I would not be surprised those three locations will be closed for at least a month while they clear out the old stock, repair the smoke damage, and then restock everything.
As I frequent the Bridgeport one due to a cat that will only eat a brand of wet cat food only sold at Walmart and no other brand (Trust me, I wasted a lot of money over the years trying), this will be a pain for me now as I need to take a bus across town to either the Boardwalk one, or the LRT to the one at Fairview Park so I can feed the bugger.
I'm just glad this was not a repeat of the Dollarama fire on Albert Street that happened a few years ago where the buildings was destroyed.
I am sure that in the next day or so, once they cross reference the security tapes at all 3 stores at those times, they will either identify who did it, or we will see it on the news.
Edit: This photo has been floating around since last night, I can't confirm if it is legit or not, but a reverse image search shows the first instance appearing last night around the time this happened. https://i.redd.it/1z9ai2281du51.jpg
