I do wonder though, are Smart Centers that much better located?
Indeed ... I'm not a huge fan of CPC, but for shopping for home, the convenience is much better. If ordering from Amazon, I can now actually choose to deliver to the nearest post office, and then walk over to pick up my parcel after I get my email notification. Better than leaving the parcel at the door -- let alone having to drive to Cambridge!
My last experience with the "Flex Delivery" at CPC was anything but positive. I got shipment notifications and then the e-mail announcing that the package has arrived at the post office. I went there the following day to learn the package wasn't there yet, and to try again the next day. I showed them the email saying it was already delivered and they told me he had no answers, and to try tomorrow.
I called the CPC (lack of) Customer Service line and was told the delivery card clarifies I have to wait until after 1pm the next day. I explained there was no attempted delivery, and therefore no card, and my email said it was delivered. She provided me with a delivery card number and shipment number (Both already on my email, and of no use to me anyway), and told me to try the next day. Really no help. It arrived at the post office 2 days later....
