Having the lane in the middle is way less than idea, it assumes you aren't going to stop anywhere, you have to cross traffic to get in and out of the lane. There is one over Hwy 400 on the 7, it looks...

I assume the rubber surface would just be like an athletics track. Certainly not as hard wearing as asphalt. I can't see it being great for bikes both from wear and from increased energy requirement f...

I remember seeing something at some point, may have been just the letter mailed to my house. In terms of widening, it is supposed to facilitate future flyover ramps from hwy 8, I assume also add a ...

With nearly 600 units proposed across the road plus commercial the area will become extremely congested, assuming it all goes ahead. The ION should help alleviate some of this but the MUP and sidewalk...

Kind of yes. This and the other development in the area plus those that are being proposed near the old Preston springs hotel. I know this isn't feasible with the interchange being an MTO responsib...

Agreed, it should pretty much be a condition of the development. With the ramps you could turn the area into a much more liveable development. The 401 overpass is a problem that is apparently not w...

The road was supposed to be reconstructed by now but the ION design has delayed this somewhat. There will be a MUP going in on one side from Freeport to the 401. Realistically it will be close to usel...

The bike lanes are bad, but the MUP on Fountain/king is worse. A couple of randomly placed signs, nothing to denote the end of them or the need to cross at King and Fountain, and no way to safely ente...

I see that but it still seems less than ideal. If we want to truly transform Hespeler we should be aiming for one lane with turn lanes, bike lanes and wider pedestrian areas. Hespeler like I suggested...
