345 Franklin Blvd + 840 & 940 Main Street | Proposed
#1
It looks like the City's website now has the details of this project for the now-delayed public meeting on Tuesday April 19 2022.

OR12/21 - 840 and 940 Main Street and 345 Franklin Boulevard (Taylor Lands)

Link to Urban Design Brief

Quote:The proposed development is a high density residential community with a range and mix of multiple residential housing types. The various unit types will provide variety and will limit the repetition within the development. The community is proposed to be developed in five blocks including multiple residential development, two stormwater management facilities, trail connections, a public park and a new road connected to Main Street. These blocks have been designed to act as a complete community adjacent to the existing built-up area where infrastructure and existing public services are available including active transportation and transit systems.
The proposed development includes approximately 829 units in a range of housing types appealing to a broad demographic that consist of:
• Apartment Building units
• Back-To-Back Townhouse units
• Stacked Townhouse units

Thankfully there’s no housing crisis, so it’s not a big deal that a 2021 project isn’t approved yet and is now going to the OLT:
