I’ve been wondering what the 5 boarded-up houses in a row were to become. This is slightly taller than most of the buildings we’ve seen — except for right at King or down closer to University I think most Northdale buildings have topped out at 6 floors. Let’s hope their assertion that it will be “a marvel” isn’t too much of an exaggeration!

And at the very least, the hope of green space and trees to shade pedestrians. It's been a shame to see the southern end of Albert closer to University become a solid street wall with absolutely no useable shade.

If it can turn Columbia into anything of substance I'm all for it.

Unless I am missing something, the renders don't indicate any exterior change to the building.

The houses have been demolished and the site is being cleared for construction.

I like this project, but for some reason I can't take it seriously with this name.

Looks like this project failed. It was in the sales stage for a while but there is now a Land for Sale sign on the lot.

Will this property be subject to penalties for demolishing rental housing and not starting construction soon enough?
