They'll be visiting (they have visited?) Waterloo Park, the Perimiter Institute, TheMuseum, and the Culinary Studio on Belmont. https://www.kitchenertoday.com/local-new...da-1627242

Here's the full sequence from the episode, for those interested.

The six teams flew from Saskatoon to Pearson, then got on one of two coaches to what they were told was a 'mystery destination'. The windows were completely curtained off so they had no ide where they were on arrival.

They went on foot to TheMuseum, where they dove into the ball pit in the 'Spectrum' exhibit to find uniquely coloured balls. Most teams got their Detour clue here; the one team that came in last in Saskatoon had an extra task, which was to go to UW's Village 1 area and ride in an autonomous car for a test. The Detour choices were: go to UW's Engineering 7 and guide a robot through a maze, or go to the Concordia Club and serve ten beer orders to a dance troupe. (All teams chose the robots; a bit too bad, as Berry Vrbanovic - in full lederhosen- would have given clues out to successful beer finishers.)

They then went to the Culinary Studio where two teams at a time faced off in a cooking task. Following that, they went to the Perimeter Institute, where they did a gravity experiment involving timing a tennis ball drop from a fourth-storey balcony and using physics equations to calculate its height. (A great tense moment at the end involved two teams frustrated at blackboards by the reflecting pool; very photogenic.) Finally, they went onto the field at University Stadium, where they were welcomed to the finish mat by Laurier's football and cheerleading teams.

Next week, they'll set out for Quebec by Via train from Kitchener station.

A commercial will be filmed around Queen and King in Kitchener this coming weekend, including a traffic jam and car rollover: https://imgur.com/ZICzzfC.jpg

Yes, this was for Coca-Cola. The commercial won't be seen here, as it's for the European market.

About 3 weeks prior to that, Pepsi-Cola was shooting in Kitchener. I believe that commercial won't be seen here either, as it was intended, IIRC, for the American market. Though we might be able to catch it on US network TV.
