I think they've done an excellent job respecting the heritage of this building. There probably is an incentive as this type of office space seems to be in high demand, but I still think the effort is commendable.

One outside wall of the old factory will anchor a dramatic modern atrium of concrete and wood that leads to the modern, six-storey office building, said Christina Karney of McCallum Sather, the heritage consultants retained by the developer.

It will also restore the original painted signs on the Victoria Street side and on the south facade with the original "The Huck Glove Co. Inc." painted in white lettering on a black background.
