I don't know if the lights I've seen are permanent or temporary during construction (this was a while ago), but it didn't look good. You could clearly see the light sources. If they have some sort of method for diffusing the light I could see it being better at night.

Frosted glass would probably do it. But it remains to be seen whether the current state is final or not.

I agree that it needs a barrier like frosted glass.  IMO, it looks worse at night.

Interesting, I think the garage lights need to defuse different. The only things I can see are; The Kraut Line, the Clock Tower, and the old water tank.

That looks a lot better than I expected, but I'm still hoping for (though long past actually expecting) the metal fins.

I can't make out anything in that. I think I have a better chance in the daytime.

Why didn't they stick with that original 'coded' line look per renderings...

Here is a view in the late afternoon, where the light fixtures are not quite so obvious.

I was cautiously optimistic, but that looks really bad

It’s too bad. I think the idea was great. It might be salvageable if they can diffuse the lighting inside — I find that I see the individual lights and find it very difficult to look past them to try to see the city in the pattern.

There is an 8F unit listed for sale, for June occupancy. Asking $500K for a little of 700 sqft.
