Has anyone seen the parking garage screen at night with the garage lights on?  I’m wondering if the effect is any better at night?

I don't know if the lights I've seen are permanent or temporary during construction (this was a while ago), but it didn't look good. You could clearly see the light sources. If they have some sort of method for diffusing the light I could see it being better at night.

Frosted glass would probably do it. But it remains to be seen whether the current state is final or not.

I agree that it needs a barrier like frosted glass.  IMO, it looks worse at night.

Interesting, I think the garage lights need to defuse different. The only things I can see are; The Kraut Line, the Clock Tower, and the old water tank.

That looks a lot better than I expected, but I'm still hoping for (though long past actually expecting) the metal fins.

It’s too bad. I think the idea was great. It might be salvageable if they can diffuse the lighting inside — I find that I see the individual lights and find it very difficult to look past them to try to see the city in the pattern.
