General Food, Dining and Nightlife News
I am unclear on ownership specifics, but my general understanding is that The Round Table is a franchise location of the Guelph cafe. It's described as a "partnership" in this article from when this location and the Waterloo location were rebranded from their original names.

At least one of the Watchtower's original owners was still associated with the Waterloo Round Table location as of the spring. He is a really good teacher, currently at Laurentian Public School, from where my eldest just graduated.

Looks like Church's Chicken may be opened in the former Pizza Pizza at University/King now, as it's showing up in the Uber Eats app. Has anyone tried them yet?

Yep, I got delivery a few days ago. The chicken sandwich was quite tasty, as were the honey cheddar biscuits.

I don't think it's anything super special, but I'll definitely order it again.

Hopefully soon. I need more Chicken Fried Steak in my life. (It’s no Bob Evans or Big Boy, but Denny’s is pretty good)

Bob Evans ... Big Boy ... Denny's. I am clearly not sufficiently appreciative of the American Chain Family Restaurant Cuisine.

I avoid all American chain restaurants. I want to keep ALL the money that I spend on food in Canada.

I saw Rumors on Facebook about Chuck's Roadhouse opening there. I have no clue if that's true or not though.

Wonder if this is an expansion to a second location, or if they are giving up on Sportsworld?
