I don't know anything about it beyond the Google Maps result. Sorry.

Is that Waterloo branch a regular bank branch or something different? I never even knew about this location, and NBC is my bank.

I don't believe it's an actual branch. No apparent retail presence, and also doesn't show up on their branch locator.

So, a DTK branch would fit in nicely -- if they are looking to expand branches in this area.

Looks awesome!  Does anyone know if this building is fully leased?  Also, when (approx.) is it scheduled for completion?

Not National... think blue...

So I thought we heard that BMO was going to the building beside the Waterloo Trust building -- so when you say "think blue", would that be Meridian? Or was the BMO info incorrect? It would make sense for BMO to move closer to its original location.

It would be really surprising for BMO to get building permits for 345 unless they were 100% committed.

Maybe RBC wants to be on King? They're the only major bank that's not.

Maybe RBC wants to be on King? They're the only major bank that's not.

Their current location on Duke is sitting half empty, so I could imagine a move.

BMO is going to 345 King W. Opening delayed until SEP2020. This is official folks.

And now we can see what the pattern is on the fourth-floor glass.

That would be nice. Currently, their bank machines are inaccessible on weekends, presumably to keep the homeless out. It is frustrating when I want to get cash for the market on Saturday.

I wonder why they don’t install a bank machine on the outside wall (probably under a cover such as might be found at a doorway)? Alternately, I recall at least some bank machine lobbies used to require the card to open the door. I’m not sure how much checking it did before opening, or if pretty much any magstripe card would work (or even any object shaped like a credit card).

Or maybe they’ve just decided that nobody goes to Kitchener off hours so it doesn’t matter anyway Tongue

TD has started closing their downtown bank machines on the weekends; couldn't get in there last weekend and had to go over to Highland. There was also window washing going on so maybe it was just for that?

Any magstripe card at all would work on those doors.
