It's so close to that MLF building isn't It!

Was in DTK Tonight - started in uptown Waterloo, wasn't set on any restaurant there so did Crafty Ramen in DTK and walked a bit after. Starbucks was popping. Outside pretty quiet after 9pm otherwise (as was Waterloo by 8). Some entertainment via a King St personality still!

Yes!  Didn't Manulife just add windows in there a couple of years ago?  Also they have removed the light on that pole and using the hydro, wonder if they got permission?, lol

Agreed. This will give the square in front of City Hall significant urban atmosphere.  Will start feeling like one of Canada's larger cities.
Hopefully the King St building where the fragrance store was gets an upgrade soon like other parts.  Would be nice to a 3 storey brick building there.

That and the gap between King Centre and Kinkaku - both are much needed.  And yes, a stretch of three storey buildings would be nice.

I like the photo from the Charles/Gaukel intersection. The step back to the tower is quite noticeable now, I'm really enjoying watching this project progress!

Taken at about 7am this morning from the top level of the Manulife parking garage. Just thought it looked sort of cool all lit up in the dark.
