And a glassed in house?

So it's two separate towers now, rather than a single (wide) tower? Along with the improved unit mix, this sounds like a good improvement. Am looking forward to seeing an updated render.

I think this was one of the proposals where you could see in the layouts that "1-bedroom+den" units were actually intended as "2-bedroom", but they erased the door, sometimes the closet, and not always the wording. Overall, they've lost 10-20% of the bedrooms.

The OMB decision is available at the following link; unfortunately no renderings are provided only specific zoning related details: http://www.omb.gov.on.ca/e-decisions/pl1...3-2017.pdf

I think that's the render for the 26-floor version, not the new 22+14-floor one.

It's interesting that the details posted earlier of the latest(?) proposal from the Chronicle are not listed on the city's website :
https://www.waterloochronicle.ca/news-st...eet-condo/ http://www.waterloo.ca/en/business/151_king_st_n.asp The project website still doesn't have updated renders.

I think it might have already been reported in the General Waterloo thread, but there are some machines on site doing demolition.

Everything on site has been demolished. Even the construction fences have been knocked down.

They have been down since Friday night, the city has had them out twice (at night) since school started to fix it. Surprised they hadn't been put back up. Probably once demolition is completed they will install a more secure barrier
