70 King St. E. is the Crabby Joe's. If they buy up the adjacent parking lot, that's a good sized parcel to rework as well.

What do you mean "rework" for the Crabby Joe's? That is a designated heritage building.

I assumed he was just referring to the adjacent parking.

Do we know anything about EuroPro? Holdings elsewhere, developments they've worked on?

So far all the holdings I have seen have been DREAM divestments (in, for example, Kitchener, Windsor and Barrie). So it seems a lot like a partial management buy-out/hive-off from DREAM.

Given that Dream already put together a proposal for the parking lot I suspect it's a part of the deal. See http://www.waterlooregionconnected.com/s...hp?tid=356

I can't help but wonder if we'll soon see a number of City of Kitchener properties come up for sale. They've got a number of parking lots in particular that they've planned to sell to developers

I think it'll depend on demand ... if the Legion and the parking lot between King/Water/Charles/Francis go quickly, there might be more.

They were cleaning it up today (on the weekend!) but I didn't have a chance to ask who the new tenant is, sorry. Much later ... the property has no signage and blinds on the windows. But it appears that at least the ground floor is being used as office space. Tenant unknown.

318 Duke Street West (old Fire Station #2, between Duke and Breithaupt) seems to be undergoing some work inside.
There was a dance studio here until recently, when it relocated to a larger space near Belmont. There doesn't seem to be a permit for whatever work is happening- something tells me that, like some of the spaces just around the corner on Breithaupt, it is being set up as office space. But it could be anything.
