What were they thinking with this building. Balconies just stop randomly half way up the building. The wall facing DTK is basically just a blank grey precast wall for 32 storey up. The sprinkle of white panels 20 stories up somehow make this building even worse. The Architects should be ashamed of what they produced.

I think there is supposed to be another tower attached on the downtown side.

The blank wall will blocked by the phase 2 portion of this building, right now they have only built about half of the building, the entire wing going towards King hasn't been built, as such the blank wall is only temporary.

So true. Whoever the hell is responsible for this is the absolute worst. This isn't the only Vive montrosity that has that random sprinkling of different colours of precast. It's like they bought the wrong colour and just said to use it. I know that really ugly Vive apartment over by Freeport hospital does the same. One wall is just this MASSIVE blank thing with a sprinkling of different shades of precast. It makes absolutely no design sense. But this one takes the cake...it looks like an urban prison or some commieblock you'd find in North Korea.
