Construction elevator has gone up and the final pieces of the pre-cast cladding on the podium are going up. They look to be on floor 16/17:

My regular update wasn't until next week, but in case U-Haul moves back in the way, here's one from today. Crane got taller, right?

Definitely taller now. For the engineers or builders on this forum, can you please explain to me why some buildings have the crane on the outside and other buildings have it on the inside ? It is my understanding that when the crane is setup inside, the crane crawls up the building so you don't need as many tower sections.

My first guess would be for the boom reach to compensate for the fact that podium is so large and they're also pulling up supplies from all sides of the project due to the limited amount of space they are needing to work with. It's probably just easier.

That makes sense. Thanks

We could start seeing window wall/glazing any day now

Lol well, seems reasonable

If you have the tower crane inside the building then there's a hole for it in every floor that needs to be filled in later. Maybe that's worth it to avoid by putting it outside.

From this angle it looks pretty good ... how it will look from the street (when completed) is still TBD.

IN8 isn't gr8, but they sure work efficiently. They'll have built a whole skyscraper in the time it took Drewlo to dig a hole.

Glass installation has started on the King and a Francis Green side of the building. Couldn’t snap a pic of it however
