It'll depend on how well it's put together, as in whether there are obvious gaps between panel sections or misalignments. Builders regularly screw that up. The long term quality of the materials will be something to also look out for. I'd say the majority of new builds in the region are visibly worn even though they've only gone up in the last couple years. If you walk around Waterloo, you quickly see how haphazardly the vast majority of buildings have been thrown together but it's true all over the region. The issue with that is they don't only visibly begin to deteriorate and show flaws, but they begin to take on structural ones too.

It's way too early to tell how this will turn out. I am still extremely skeptical. Remember this is IN8...it's the exact same architects, designers, engineers, builders etc who did the Duke Tower disaster. The design of this one is not as offensive to the senses, but I will not be surprised if they manage to screw quite a few things up.

Is this building going to be delayed? Usually after 1 week they have half a storey finished and starting the next floor or half of it. Today I walked by and noticed the half of the 15th floor not being started, I'm guessing the parts for the crane to be raised are late? They already have the pumper on it's side. I posted the road closure awhile ago thinking it was for the crane to be raised but it looks like it is for the wall panels.

There has been no signs of any concerning delays. This should continue to climb barring a major financial issue with the developer. Some floors take longer than others based on a number of factors such as weather, contractor availability, material delivery schedule/logistics, holidays, slab floors, mechanical floors. They also sold these units at the absolute peak of the real estate market (Unfortunate for the buyer)

Nice. They're also back to 20 hour per day working hours since May 1.
