I think this tower will prove once and for all whether SRM Architects has ANY talent. Anything...whatsoever. They might because I know people who have been there (and obviously left lol)...but is there anyone left? The design of this looks, uh, acceptable I guess. I have no complaints about the podium. The tower is a bit repetitive but it's tricky to alter it without relying on super generic design tricks that exist in 2023. But to do it correctly takes a good designer.

We've all seen how terribly 100% of their work has been so far. It stains the region, like tumorous growths that you can see and want to have some form of nuclear radiation destroy. Will the small team that worked on this tower have actually succeeded in designing something nice? Will it psychologically comfortable? Are the the materials high quality? Is the interior and exterior of the building going to have any issues? Does the building look nice to look at from outside? What about inside?

Apart from SRM being quite nearly (but not entirely) talentless, they are thieves. Pop quiz! :'P Can anyone tell these two apart? Any idea which one SRM Architects designed and which one was done by an extremely famous firm that? Regardless of your answer, it's pretty insane for an "upcoming" architecture firm to straight up steal someone else's creative output, convince obviously clueless team leaders it's their own original work and to then actually have this Dollarama bootleg get constructed.

Well the forms are definitely above ground now. Can update when there's concrete in them.

Wall along the side of the building at the parking garage entrance is a couple stories tall now.

Uhaul trucks = banana for scale.

Looks like the second floor of the garage is being formed. Well above grade now.

The podium is high enough that it hides the concrete trucks from this angle when they back up into the site on Francis.

Glad @ac3r answered the question of how high the podium will be. If you were asking how high is it now, I think they've put 1 or 2 below ground, but it's just 1 above ground so far? Here's a pic from the opposite corner. Similar to @lebronj233's

Here's a slightly different angle of the Charles/Francis corner. The corner post angle is interesting.

The angled sections will be wrapped in metal with a wood pattern on it to visually match the 5 glass windscreens that will be installed perpendicular to the podium. The whole tower has a tree vibe going on for some reason. Hopefully it'll look nice when it's done but considering who the architects were...heh.
