Correct. The most recent image was just done by a rendering studio that Kirkor often works with. Unless the city decides to go back to selecting proposals, what you see from Kirkor will not be what is built at King/Allen.

Yes, however I have heard that Perimeter's proposal is stalled. Not sure what the issue is.

They need to wait for the city to build the new Adult Recreation Centre at the Rec Complex. Only then will the existing centre be decommissioned and ready for demolition

I believe that the timeline for the construction at the WRMC was 2020 with opening in 2021.

Do we know if this proposal is going ahead as planned or if there have been any changes since the renderings back in 2018? I hope not, but with Covid having dramatically affected the office market, I wouldn’t be surprised.

They were waiting for a lead tenant before starting construction, which they recently secured. I can't disclose who it is, but everyone knows them and you would be surprised

Glad to see this proposal moving forward. Does anyone know if it will still look like the original proposal? If so it may be the nicest mid-rise office building in the region. I hope the tenant is someone new to the region or someone with major expansion plans.
