Please note that this is not the same project as the ODC redevelopment, even though both are located on Roger St. The posts below were moved from the ODC thread.
Renders still aren't on the official site, but they've started showing up in various realtor ads and Buzz Buzz Home appears to have the full set. https://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/ca/spur-line-common

Would it kill them to include even one site plan in the images? I can’t even tell which way the building faces on the site, or where the townhouses will be.
Thanks. One of the images is a site plan which makes it clear.
I have to say that it looks like the apartment buildings will be at the back next to the cemetery. To me it would make more sense to have the apartments out near the street (maybe even with a portico — that would be quite something!), with the townhouses in behind, with some having backyards that open out into the cemetery.
But of course it would totally destroy the city to have apartment buildings directly across the street from houses, so that’s out of the question.

I'm sure the neighbourhood would have fought against putting the apartment out front. Re the cemetery, I assume that it will be fenced off from the development.
Kitchener Today is reporting that this development is going to have a new Park with a Playground attached to it, connecting at Roger Street and Mount Hope Cemetery.
A playground? Think about the grass! Kids might make ley lines on it or lose their basketballs on the property and trespass, leading to vagrancy. I think it's best we cancel this one as well. Definitely going to write Redman and Outhit about this one.
