Nice of them to render some trees where the rail line will be. That back podium wall is going to be a bit of an imposing block of grey given the elevation above the rail line and the MUT. Would be interesting if they could do more with it public art wise given the size and likelihood it will be visible well into the future.

Interesting they put trees there in the rendering rather than the crash wall which is in the site plans.
Does anyone know if there’s a standard height for a crash wall?

yeah that back podium is not going to look good, which is unfortunate because it will be one of the main things you see from the new MUT on the other side of the tracks. I have a feeling this will be a Stubbe's Precast panel job. I hope they can just commision some artist to liven up the wall. I like the design of the towers better then the previous version, but I a wary of the randomness of the spandrel/ the grey spandrel zig zag design may turn out to look like a slightly higher end version of One28.

I live near the 'Bianca' in Toronto, and they've recently put up some artwork on the crash-wall backing the CN rail. It looks great!

Agreed. Why not just plant some actual...plants? Lol. Metal trees instead.

There are a few more REAL plants back there. I'll grab some more pictures as spring continues

Tower B looks pretty tall looking from Victoria st N, it’s on a bit of a hill which helps. Add another 12 floors on for phase 2 tower D, it’s going to look huge!

What is ever going to happen with the old McDonald’s across the street?

Hopefully this! I forget what this building in Toronto is called, but would fit nice. But I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread the McDonalds property is owned by McDonald’s and until they decide to sell or reopen, nobody knows
