Hey folks, sorry I'm late to the party. Had to take a much needed screen break over the holidays. Needed a bit of a reset.
Thanks so much to Tom and plam and everyone else's help on this. You guys are life savers

Google Chrome notified me today that this website had a data breach and I should change my password. Here is a screenshot
It says it happened 14 days ago, which is close to when the issues with logging in to this site started. Any chance it is related? Also this is the first time I have seen this feature in Chrome, cool feature!

That notification is just saying that the password you use here was found in data breach, it doesn't necessarily mean WRC was breached. Did you use the same password anywhere else?.

I don't know if Google makes their breach data set available, but you can search by email and password on this site:

Here is a screenshot I've been seeing that popup for a few sites recently. (Back when I was stupidly using a few common passwords). I started using Lastpass a few years ago, and have been changing passwords as I stumble across sites that have a weaker password with a randomly generated one (For example, I just used lastpass to randomly generate this one. J02r^^0C*4#wp*1H) but most of my passwords going forward will be using this formula. Sure it's a pain in the butt to enter, but on sites I only have to enter it every few months I will put up with the inconvenience. And thanks for reminding me to check this site. I just changed it as i was using a weaker password on it. As for the original issue this thread is going on about, I had a bookmark to a HTTP and a HTTPS link on this page. I clicked the HTTP one and I was not logged in but the HTTPS one I was. I just deleted the HTTP one.

I'm having to log in every time, even though I have 'remember user' selected. When I log in, I get this message: Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again.
Any thoughts?

Check to see whether you are going to "http://www.waterlooregionconnected.com" or "https://www.waterlooregionconnected.com" (with the s, and a lock bar in the icon). Try typing https and seeing whether you're logged in. We (er, I) should fix it to auto-forward to the https.
