Probably not an issue for most, but I often have a smaller browser window when I am multi-tasking on a laptop, so the change isn't very positive for me.
I'm also missing the mobile theme. The desktop site renders fine on my phone, but without any mobile optimization it's just annoying to use, especially when I only follow a couple of threads.
It's not a fixed width theme, so not sure what issue you're experienceing. Resizes based on whatever window size I'm using unless I make it tiny.

Ya it should be. Will have to play around and find out the various colour codes to get them to match.
You mean converting the aqua blue to the green right?

Not quite fixed-width but it does expect the window width to be at least 1024px or so (the old XGA screen width), below that you need to use the horizontal scroll bar.

Maybe not wonderful, but working.
I'll explore getting the paid version when I continue to get feedback and decide if this is the option that works best for us

It's working well for me, but I don't really use many of the extra features, so I'm easy to please on that front. As for the aesthetics, I don't mind the bare bones standard theme. I suppose having a consistent theme is a nice feature, but it wouldn't bother me either way. That said, I appreciate your effort in sorting out the issues people were having - this is a great forum and I get to enjoy it thanks to your work behind the scenes.

I can reproduce this behaviour too, on Chrome and Safari on OS X.
An animated gif of the behaviour. It starts with a medium/large width, I decrease the width of the window and the text doesn't reflow. With a smallish width, I have to scroll horizontally to see all the content. I then increase the width of the window again.

Yup, although if it's also possible to change the header from slate grey to something warmer that would be neat too.

No, the previous theme didn't have a minimum width. See e.g. this mid-2017 archive of a random LRT thread page.

Hmm I'll be honest, I wouldn't even know where to begin to add that feature

Is there any way to address the posting-images-from-mobile bug with this update, or is that a deeper issue?

It's an issue with the current mobile plugin.
If we keep this theme and I buy the full version of it, I'd imagine it would be solved

Kevin - as a workaround, when I want to post a photo from mobile, I:
-Resize it with ImageResize+
-Write my post in Mobile
-Copy all text
-Switch to Desktop theme as late as possible
-Upload the image and tediously try to pinch and zoom around to enter the image in the post
You can also very easily add twitter posts now, so that's an option as well. Or Imgur I suppose (I've never used it).
