My first "real" job was for the federal government, and people (including some supervisors) would make fun of my first name because of Jeff Dahmer. I mean, that's what they literally called me. (my last name doesn't sound anything like Dahmer). I survived. I think there are a lot worse things than messing humorously with your name.
If my last name was close to Hogwart, I would just say "yes, I'm a wizard, just watch what I can do..." Back to that federal job, when a supervisor had called my Jeffrey Dahmer, I responded "Yeah, I don't think you'd taste good, you're kind of old and too fatty, my fridge is too small to fit you..." and I walked away.
