Waterloo Region reported 24 new cases for today (16.2% of the active cases) and none additional for yesterday for 19; 126 new cases for the week (+2 from yesterday and -8 from last week), averaging 12.6% of active cases. 154 active cases, +9 in the last seven days.

Ontario reported 722 new cases today with a seven-day average of 564 (+30), compared to 440 a week ago. 391 recoveries and two deaths translated to an increase of 329 active cases and a new total of 4,989. +1,322 active cases for the week and 14 deaths (two per day). 23,075 tests with a positivity rate of 3.13%. The positivity rate is averaging 2.46% for the past seven days, compared to 2.12% for the preceding seven.
113 people in the ICU, +10 from yesterday and +24 over the last week.
33,535 doses of vaccine administered yesterday, with a seven-day average at 39,876 (previous week was 45,090). 72.77% of total provincial population vaccinated (+0.07% from yesterday, +0.57% from 7 days ago), 66.27% fully vaccinated (+0.16% from yesterday, +1.30% from 7 days ago).
