Thanks. I'll read into this some more, it's interesting.
I do wonder how people would respond to something like needing vaccinations to be in a restaurant or other venues...such as nightclubs, bars etc. A couple days ago, in London England, there were massive protests with thousands upon thousands of people protesting the lockdown, vaccinations (not that they're against taking them, but people are worried about it becoming something like a caste system where if you don't have one, your rights are limited), nightclub owners and DJs, business owners, climate change activists etc. Eventually these restrictions hit a boiling point and people erupt. Humans, naturally, want their freedom.
Interestingly, it became a party at the same time. There were lots of DJs and musicians there as well doing a #saveourscene protest. They are fed up with having their careers and livelihoods disrupted. I can sympathize as I produce music on the side and haven't been able to enjoy anything. Venue owners I know (mostly in the GTA) are basically at their wit's end as they try to survive. This sort of response - to party in the street - in the middle of a deadly pandemic is...certainly interesting. History books will be writing about how we responded to this in the future.
