Waterloo Region reported 56 new cases for today (9.2% of the active cases) and no additional ones for yesterday for a total of 65; 453 new cases for the week (-74), averaging 10.0% of active cases. 569 active cases, -81 in the last seven days.
Next testing report on Tuesday.
Next vaccination report on Monday.
Ontario reported 3,369 new cases today with a seven-day average of 3,618 (-104). 3,964 recoveries and 29 deaths translated to a decrease of 624 active cases and a new total of 37,438. -4,035 active cases for the week and 192 deaths (27 per day). 46,803 tests for a positivity rate of 7.20%. The positivity rate is averaging 8.10% for the past seven days, compared to 8.23% for the preceding seven.
900 patients in ICU (+17 today, +67 for the week) and a total hospital population of 2,152 (-125 for the week). The hospital population seems to have stabilized in the 2200s for the moment, but the ICU admissions (which lag hospital admissions) are still going up, albeit not as rapidly as before.
107,700 doses of vaccine administered, with a seven-day average of 103,902. At this pace, the dose count will reach 70% of the provincial population on 2021-06-15 (+1 days). The weekly vaccination total was down 7.2% from the week before -- and this doesn't appear to be supply, unless the province is holding some back until the next shipment (there are still 400K doses in inventory, and the last delivery was on Tuesday).
Only regions with at least two cases per 100,000 population
