The courts can order all the shit they want, but their orders are obviously meaningless in practice.

I think the church is likely about to discover that contempt of court was not a good idea. While I didn't think their charter challenge was going anywhere, clearly there were lawyers that did. However, courts do not look favourably on plaintiffs that don't abide by the court's orders.

WRPS may have been hesitant to enforce lockdown orders strictly, for fear of giving them a platform. I doubt that will extend to contempt of court.

Man wow, I am wondering if anti mask sympathizers are now filling this church instead of the congregation. When our church was open it was pretty strict and everyone was masked or asked to stay home. The bishop declared that the holy day obligations were to be suspended until further notice.
