Waterloo Region reported 141 new cases today (15.7% of the active cases); 980 new cases for the week (+114), averaging 19.2% of active cases. 947 active cases, +364 in the last seven days.
Ontario reported 4,249 new cases today -- that includes 450 cases not reported in Toronto for the past two days -- with a seven-day average of 3,354 (+253). 2,738 recoveries and 26 deaths translated to an increase of 1,035 active cases (excluding the 450 for the past two days) and a new total of 28,203. +6,621 active cases for the week and 301 deaths (43 per day). 71,481 tests for a positivity rate of 5.31%. The positivity rate is averaging 6.65% for the past seven days, compared to 5.38% for the preceding seven.
