Waterloo Region reported 52 new cases for today (12.0% of the active cases).  449 new cases for the week (+27), averaging 13.8% of active cases. 422 active cases (-127 in the last seven days).

Ontario reported 1,873 new cases today, with a seven-day average of 1,874 (+52). 1,918 recoveries and 17 deaths translated to a drop of 62 active cases, and a current total of 16,221. +1,009 active cases for the week and 176 deaths. 65,260 tests -- a third consecutive record -- resulted in a 2.87% positivity rate. The positivity rate is averaging 3.53% for the past seven days, as compared to 3.75% for the preceding seven.
