Seemed pretty quiet, although it was later on in evening. The construction in the immediate area certainly can't be helping, there is a big concrete drainage pipe about 30 feet from the picnic tables!
It was hopping around 7pm. Lots of folks (including many kids) packing all the available green space around Ambrosia Pastry. I loved it.
It probably "seemed quiet" because they'd sold out of everything. When I got there at 6:45 last night the food truck was waiting for a restock on all but one dish. When I went to get an ice cream sandwich 30 minutes later both the waffles and bourbon ice cream were already gone. Seems like it's more popular than Ambrosia Pastry or the food trucks had anticipated - hopefully they will be able to stock more appropriately for future weeks.
