Waterloo Region reported another new case-free day today, making it four out of five this week. The new case increase was 0.0% of the total cases to date and 0.0% of the current active caseload. New cases averaging 2.3% of actives over the past seven days. Active cases in the region were down to 35 (-1), and down by 17 in the past seven days.
2,120 tests over the past three days, or an average of 707 per day and a positivity rate of 0.05%.
Ontario reported 134 new cases today, back above 100, with a seven-day average of 115 new cases. 168 recoveries and three deaths translated to a decrease of 37 active cases, so we're now at 1,360, back to the lows of two weeks ago. A weekly total change of -187. 30,033 tests for a 0.4% positivity rate. The positivity rate is averaging 0.45% for the past seven days.
