Why do you think that? Neruda Arts'/Alapinta's mural on Hall's lane is three years old, and still looks new. While the size of this installation dictates a different approach, why do you think they would be creating disposable art?
I don't know, perhaps it will last. But the idea of something artistic that is less than permanent doesn't really bother me. I don't know what the Electrohome mural on the Duke St garage is made of, but it has lasted for decades now.
